FAMILY LIFE PROJECTS

The most difficult part of doing the FAMILY LIFE badge is figuring out what to do for a project! Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Mike cleaned out and rearranged his mom's cabinets to make them more efficient.
Elisha repainted the bathroom and fixed the tiles on the floor.
Gabe built a trellis.
Jordon reroofed an outbuilding.
David painted his room, installed shelves, put up a closet pole and supports, and installed trim.

Some ideas from other Scouts (and their parents):

Do something from your Dad's 'honey-do' list that he's never going to get around to.
Clean out your rain gutters.
Paint (or repaint) your street numbers in a reflective paint so they can be seen at night.
Trim all the bushes, hedges, trees in your yard.
Detail the car.
Finish all the mending in the mending pile.
Cook a month's worth of meals and freeze them.
Wash all the windows inside and out. Don't forget the screens.
Clean out and organize the garage.
Change out the toilet seats, smoke detector batteries, and dead light bulbs.
Fix something that's been broken a long time.
Install a zinc strip on the roof to keep moss from growing.
Label all the digital pictures on your parents' computer with meaningful descriptions rather than numbers.
