LAKE EASTON CAMPOUT 01/19/2008

What do you get when you mix 14 energetic Scouts, 11 adults, and a lot of precipitation? The ultimate snow campout.

Mr. Odell and crew used an igloo-making tool to make a great and functional living space. Luke, Scott, and crew did it the old-fashioned way, and theirs turned out great as well.

No clear winner emerged in the battle of the stews -- the Scouts all claim that Conrad's was superior while the adults were in favor of Mrs. Odell's. Conrad sure showed his stuff with the Bear Patrol eating very well.

Mr. Burris was apparently wearing his jacket with the bullseye on it, as he was the recipient of at least a thousand snowballs over the weekend. Strategist Evan planned out an attack that gave new meaning to the word snowblind.

We snowshoed, sledded, ate very well, and (for the most part) stayed warm despite the weather!
