PARADISE CAMPOUT - 2/23/08 - 2/24/08

The weather was perfect and so was the snow.  The Scouts set up camp and prepared to make their evening habitats of snow caves.  The boys stayed warm trying not to sweat too much digging out their caves.  Evening temps were a bit low, some Troops were spotted having a mock evening fire bowl in the bathroom.  All our boys were prepared and fared well, although I understand the caves were a bit colder to sleep in than Easton.  Thanks to the great Troop purchase of snow shoes, the group enjoyed a snowshoe hike the following morning before heading home.

Thanks to Cher for the commentary, and to Roger for the photos.
