Scribe arrived late but only missed old business which included the previous meeting's minutes which were accepted and the reviews for the Edgeworks and the Paradise snow caves outings for which there were comments and and suggestions for improvements.
T.J.'s Eagle Ceremony was announced and patrol leaders were urged to get their patrols motivated about the event. Everyone needs to come in full uniform. It will take place on Friday, March 14th at 7:00 pm at the Council Scout Offices on 19th street in Tacoma.
Discussion on the swim party, Ram patrol highly recommended to be present because 2nd class and 1st class requirements will be worked on. Planned for Sunday, March 16th at 1:30 pm at the Peninsula High School Pool. Ice Cream will be served at the end. (Scott says there will be Cheese Puffs too! @_@)
Easter egg hunt was discussed. Boys need to wear uniforms. Will be on Saturday, March 22nd at 9:00am at KPCC. The hunt will begin at noon and will be over in 2-15 minutes. Right afterwards Scouts will set up tables and chairs for that evening.
KPCC Citizen of the Year Banquet is discussed. All boys going must be in full regalia for flag ceremony. Same day as the egg hunt but at 5:30 pm.
Fort Flagler Campout was planed for the 29th and 30th of March.
Schedule
Saturday
The boys will meet at 7:30 at Lake Kathryn Shopping Center.
Arrival should be at 9:30 am and the boys will set up camp immediately.
Starting at 10:30 am boys will do TTFC in the ax yard, lashings, and making and cooking over campfires.
12:30 pm will herald lunch.
As soon as camp cleanup is done scouts will do a two hour service project.
4:30 pm is dinner.
After dinner there will be bunker exploration. Also after dinner there will be a dutch oven cook off.
At 7:30 pm there will be desert and campfire.
10:00 pm is lights out |-) zzzzzzzzzzz.
Sunday
Cooks get up bright and early at 6:30 (horrors!).
After breakfast is done and camp is taken down the troop will visit the museum at 11:00 am. After that the boys go home.
